Mission

The mission of the Postal Administration is to organise, to manage and operate the mail collection and exchange network over the national territory and between the postal administrations of country members of the Universal Postal Union.

It ensures the management of the network of postal giro accounts (CCP) of individuals, public and private organisations as well as the treasury accounts.
It handles all operations related to the issuing and payment of postal money orders, transfer of funds and the payment of public servants' salaries.
It is also the depository of postal stamps and other related philatelic items for the sale on counter or for the use of collection purposes.
