The Burundian Post is facing new challenges such as
the globalisation, the development of Information
and Communication Technologies (ICT) and competition.
The only possible response is to cope with these
challenges by the integration of ICT in the services
for the improvement of quality and transparency in
the sector (to fight embezzlements) and face competition
by a better service to our customers and a market
oriented approach.
The opening of cyberposts in the main urban centres
is one of our priorities in order to make the ICT
available to all and thus contribute to break the
numeric bridge.
The progressive reopening of the offices that had
been closed during the crisis and the opening of new
ones will make the Post closer to its customers.
